I think what you posted was very logical. But, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added a post title to possibly get folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and watch how they write article titles to get people to open the links. You might add a video or a picture or two to get readers interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
